I cannot emphasize how useful, and perfectly, this feature works. Verbal spellcheck.
Reading your work aloud is the ONLY way you can proof your own work. If you merely read your text in your head, your brain patterns will make the mistakes again.
You will be amazed at what you hear. I listen with my eyes closed, as to not distract myself visually.
Even if you have resources, co-workers, etc... to proofread your work, you STILL should take this step. You will look wicked smarter and nicely polished when you hand over your next post, press release or blog copy.
